At Taos Honey Co, we are more than just beekeepers — we are stewards of the land, deeply connected to the rhythms of Northern New Mexico’s high desert and mountain landscapes. Our honey is a reflection of this place, sourced from nearly 300 local hives throughout the Upper Rio Grande region, where the bees forage on wildflowers, sage, alfalfa, and fruit orchards.
We believe in working in harmony with nature to protect the delicate balance that sustains both pollinators and people. Every jar of our honey is a testament to the magic of this land and the hands that nurture it. Supporting local means supporting a way of life, one that values sustainability, community, and the deep wisdom of working with the earth.
Communing with the bees is a sacred practice — one of patience, reciprocity, and healing. Their medicine extends beyond the hive, offering nourishment, immunity, and a taste of the land itself. Our honey isn’t just sweet; it’s a gift of nature, rich with the medicinal properties that have been revered for generations.
We invite you to experience honey as it was meant to be — wild, raw, and infused with the spirit of the Southwest. Whether drizzled over a meal, stirred into tea, or taken as a daily ritual, our honey is a connection to the age-old tradition of honoring what the land so generously provides.
